Greenvolt Power, the international utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage developer, has taken another step towards building out their wind development pipeline as part of their North American operations. Alongside Bedrock Renewables, an experienced wind energy developer, their new joint venture, Emerald EP, will develop and acquire wind assets in various stages of development and operations throughout the United States.

This partnership brings together the expertise of the two teams and marks a significant stride in both companies’ plans to expand their wind power operations across the United States. Combining years of experience and resources, Emerald EP is positioned to accelerate the deployment of wind energy and contribute to the U.S.’s renewable energy transition.

With over 2.2 GW of global wind capacity and a fast-growing development pipeline, Greenvolt Power has an extensive background in developing large-scale wind farms. “As we’re quickly expanding our U.S. operations, it’s critical that we have a strong team behind our efforts to develop more wind projects following in line with the success of our European counterparts. That’s why we’re thrilled to be working with the highly skilled team at Bedrock Renewables,” said Donald Carrillo, Country Manager of Greenvolt Power.

“Bedrock is excited to be partnering with the established, yet nimble Greenvolt Power team who shares our vision for growth in key markets throughout the U.S.,” said Mehul Mehta, Partner at Bedrock Renewables.
